As of 2025, our organization has donated over $5.6 million to charity.

The Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation has had the honor of aiding numerous charities thanks to the ongoing support of the community over the past 26 years of hosting world class professional golf tournaments. We thank the charity partners we work with, as well as the many sponsors, volunteers and spectators that allow us to give back to deserving non-profits. The mission of the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation is to leverage the highest ideals of golf to inspire and transform our community and environment, and we continue to drive this mission forward.

The Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization recognized under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It was established in 1999. Testimonials

High Fives Foundation

Thanks to the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation’s generous support, the High Fives Foundation has been able to create the Reno-Tahoe Hydro Therapy Room—an accessible recovery space helping adaptive athletes push their limits. Athletes like Jeff Andrews use this facility multiple times a week to manage inflammation and support their training after a life-changing injury. Their contributions directly fuel recovery, resilience, and the pursuit of personal goals!

Friends of the Truckee Library

The Friends of the Truckee Library are deeply grateful for the ongoing support of the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation.

This incredible partnership provides vital funding to help FOTL support the current Truckee Library while advancing our mission to build the new Truckee Regional Library.

Our volunteers have a fantastic time participating in the tournament, making it a fun and rewarding way to give back while highlighting the importance of a new library for our community.

Procter R. Hug High School boys and girls Tennis Teams

Your generous donation has provided many low-income, Title One students the opportunity to have tennis racquets, racquets restrung, and practice balls provided to them for games and practice. Without your generosity, this would not have been accessible to many of the students on our tennis team. We greatly appreciate all that you do for our team, for our school, and for the community! Thank you!

Sincerely,
HUG Hawks Tennis Team and Coach Pacheco

The Discovery Museum

The Discovery is extremely grateful for the support it has received from the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation. Philanthropic support enables the museum to provide hands-on programs and exhibitions inspiring a love of science and lifelong learning in people of all ages and interests. Additionally, support from the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation helps fund the museum financial assistance program which keeps the museum accessible to families, schools, and organizations who can benefit from what The Discovery has to offer.

Reno Jr Cadets Program

Over the last several years, the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation provided donations to The Jr Cadet program which have been used to provide training materials, uniforms, and other items needed for the success of the program. The Reno Police Jr Cadet program would not be where it is today without the generosity of the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation. We look forward to continuing to work with the Foundation for years to come. — Officer Jared Woodward
